Owner Flores family (belongs to Andresen

The house was founded in 1852 by Kenneth Mackenzie, a sherry shipper from Cadiz and joined with Driscoll & Co in 1870. The Port production of this sherry house started during the 19th century. After the Second World War the house was sold to J. H. Andresen. In 1970 Andresen sold Mackenzie to Harvey in Bristol. Mackenzie does not exist anymore and the last known Vintage Port under the Mackenzie brand is 1982.

TasteMedium body. Mature and peaking. Very elegant and balanced port with cacao, ginger and candy in teste. Quite sweet but very complex and a delicious and wonderful finish which never seem to end but retuned and returned again. What a Port!! Astonishing!Average score

TasteMature and peaking with just a hint of old acidity which we appreciated very much. Balanced, very complex and lots of flavours such as toffee, crème candy, candy and so on. Very elegant with a lovely, wonderful, long and complex finish. What a Port! Drink it and enjoy it!Average score

TasteExcellent body. Complex and balance port. Mature and peaking. Toffee, cacao, chocolate, sweet liquorice, crème caramel and much more in taste. A very attractive port with a long, attractive and wonderful finish which continue to be rolling in the mouth.Average score16.53
