This web site is focused on Vintage Port but we have of course also tasted some interesting Ports that are not of the Vintage Port type. We thought it would be interesting to share some tasting notes for some of the older and more rare bottlings that we have tasted. So here are some tasting notes for Colheitas, Tawnies and Garrafeiras that were at least 50 years old when we tasted them.

Of course there was some old acidity but it was quite elegant and the sweetness took over in a lovely and attractive finish. This was an astonishing and lovely experience.Score range
