Quinta da Côrte is known back to early or mid 18th century. The Pacheco family run it from the beginning of last century, having inherited it from the Cyrne family who were joint owners at that time. The fine Quinta da Côrte in the Rio Torto Valley of the Douro was for long exclusively associated with Delaforce Sons & C:a and was used as a Single Quinta Vintage Port under Delaforce. In 2013 Philippe Austruy, owner of Commanderie de Peyrassol in Côtes de Provence and the Château Malescasse in Haut-Médoc bought the quinta. The first Vintage Port declared by the quinta, under the new management, was the 2015 Vintage.
