Quinta do Portal belongs to Portal.

Quinta do Portal is since 2024 owned by The Fladgate Partnership when it was bought from the previous owners, the Branco family. A Single Quinta Vintage Port is made from Quinta do Portal and the company also makes a Vintage Port named Portal, which is mixed from several vineyards.

Taste	Immature and fruity. Still tannin. Mulberry and some mint in flavour. Balanced and attractive with a promising finish.	Average score	15.25

Colour	Dark in colour with a just a hint of a yellow rim.	Number of tastings	8
Bouquet	Dark berries such as dark cherry, mulberry, black berry, roasted coffee, some cacao, chocolate, some oak and mint in the nose.	Score range	14.40 - 15.90
Taste	Medium body. Rather mature but still some soft and elegant tannins and will perhaps improve. Dark berries, coffee, cacao and mint and some integrated oak in flavour. Balanced and quite complex and rather long finish. Very enjoyable and easy to drink today.	Average score	15.16

Bouquet	Dark berries, Cacao, some chocolate, herbs and some roasted coffee in the nose.	Score range	14.75 - 15.50
Taste	Medium body. Still some very soft tannin but rather enjoyable and will probably not improve much. Dark berries, cacao, some chocolate and herbs in flavour. Nice fruit and good balance with quite an elegant and rather attractive finish.	Average score	15.18

Taste	Medium body. Good tannins but quite easy to drink and like already. Quite dry. Dark berry, fruit and some oak in flavour. Quite nice and elegant but a rather short finish.	Average score	15.23

Taste	Medium body. Lovely tannins and nice fruit. Balanced. Loaded with dark berry but also liquorice and toffee in flavour. Quite sweet. Elegant with a nice finish. Easy to drink and enjoy.	Average score	15.66
