Belonging to Sandeman.
This quinta was marked on Forrester’s map It belong to Baron de Seixo to the mid 19th century and acquired of Miguel de Sousa Guedes probably in the late 1880s and bought by Ferreira in 1979. Sousa Guedes & Irmao has made a port with the quintas name and so did Ferreira in 1983. Quinta do Seixo came to Sogrape 1987 when Ferreira was bought and was transferred to Sandeman when Sogrape bought this house in 2002.

| Taste | Medium bodied. Mature and at its peak. Will not improve. Balanced but astonishing dry. Cacao. chocolate, some liquorice and ginger in flavour. The finish is quite complex and attractive. An elegant and enjoyable port indeed. | Average score | 16.29 |
