Quinta de Zimbro
Quinta de Zimbro
Zimbro is a juniper and as you can expect therefore, there is a juniper tree next to the quinta house. The quinta was already marked on Pombal's demarcation in 1758. It was bought of George Warre, the senior partner of Silva & Cosens in 1888 and was his first property. Zimbro was sold to the Pinto Espanyol's by Symington family in 1952 but continue to make the Port from the property.
