Comment | Tasted at the Wine Society 18% tasting in Malmö. 6 bottles have been corked. There is no denying that when this vintage from Cockburn present clean, it is in the top vintage of 1983. Nevertheless, this vintage has globally shown a high incidence of cork defect. The former winemaker of Cockburn, Miguel Corte-Real has admitted that there was a “significant problem” with this vintage. In 2017 this vintage took part in a Great Tasting in the Wine Society 18%.
