Douro Wine Shippers and Growers belonged to Barros Almeida but does not exist anymore. Barros Almeida used this company mostly to ship private-labeled Port for their European clients, and in many cases used the Buyer's own brand (BOB). Flagman was the import brand of Egger & Franke, Bremen, Germany, and Maia was a brand used in Italy. Morano, Coreira, Ducal are three brands shipped by Douro Wine Shippers and Growers Association, but it is not known if these were originally port wine houses, are the Buyer's own brand's or brands that belonged to Douro Wine Shippers and Growers Association. Silva Luz is a brand registered in Denmark by Douro Wine Shippers and Growers Association but it is not known if the brand was used on other markets as well. In addition, Douro Wine Shippers and Growers also shipped some of the minor houses in the Barros Almeida group, e.g. A. Pinto dos Santos and Porto Rocha.

According to Manuel Angelo Barros, a director of Barros, they used the same wine for several brands shipped by Douro Wine Shippers and Growers Association.
