Sogevinus is owned by the Spanish bank Novagalicia Banco, based in Galicia. Sogevinus was established in 1998. It started with purchasing Calem and then followed the acquisition of Burmester and Gilbert in 2005, Feist, Kopke and Barros, all three in 2006.
